| The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) has completed work on the I95 /MD 24 Interchange Improvement Project. The project, aimed at the enhancing safety, adding capacity and reducing congestion on a 1.5-mile stretch of MD 24 in Harford County, began in the fall of 2008. "Thanks to the local communities, businesses and commuters for your patience and cooperation during various phases of constructions. Please continue to "Stay Alert So No One Gets Hurt!" and obey posted speed limits, especially when traveling through work zones." |

| Harford County Government's Office of Economic Development and the Sustainability Office joined together in 2010 to create the Harford County Green Business Network (HCGBN). In 2012, the HCGBN is partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to further develop the sustainable business outreach program. A component of this collaboration is the following survey about your sustainable business practices. Please take 5 minutes and answer the following 5 questions to assist us in connecting you with the most relevant information and research you need to take the next step in integrating sustainability into your business. As a token of our appreciation we are giving away an eco friendly bag to everyone that completes the survey. | Important Deadlines: February 24, 2012 - potential applicants must complete the LSHG intent to submit" cover sheet electronically to lshginfo@comcast.net. It is enclosed with this letter and available upon request. March 23, 2012 – all final applications and copies must be submitted to LSHG for review and prioritization. April 6, 2012 – All applications due to MHAA. They will be hand delivered by LSHG to Crownsville. During the period of February 24 – March 23, potential applicants will be contacted by the LSHG to discuss the proposed project. We will provide any necessary technical assistance to make your grant successful. Group applications are encouraged. |
