Coffee & Connections Networking Sessions
Chamber members receive unparalleled networking resources in the form of events. These events are tailored to the business community to foster an environment that encourages professional and collaborative growth.
One of the best ways to break the ice is at a Coffee & Connections networking session. This lively morning event is held in the Chamber’s board room and is open to members and non-members (on a limited basis). Participants are able to enjoy coffee and one-on-one conversation, followed by an opportunity for each person to introduce themselves to the group and give their business’s “30 Second Commercial.” Coffee & Connections is held the third Wednesday of every month from 8:00 am – 9:00 am.
We encourage you to pre-register for these recurring events so that we may provide you with a printed name upon arrival. Remember to bring business cards with you as they are collected, scanned, and then distributed via email by the Chamber to each Coffee & Connections attendee. Last year we had a cumulative total of 398 participants in these free networking events! Register for the next Coffee & Connections now!
Business After Hours
For those who prefer evening events, the Chamber offers Business After Hours. This event is held and sponsored by member locations. It is an opportunity to showcase each hosting business to Chamber members and invited guests. Business After Hours focuses on conversation in a relaxed setting where guests can enjoy refreshments while they network. With 60 to over 100 attendees per event, it is also a great way for the hosting business to gain new exposure and customers. Some past Business After Hours hosts include the Liriodendron Mansion, the Y of Central Maryland, Susquehanna Bank, Tidewater Promotions, PNC Bank, Bulle Rock, Advanced Eye Care, Palumbo Insurance Associates, and Ladew Gardens.
Interested in maximizing the benefits of your Chamber benefits? Attend a Chamber Connection and make your membership WORK for you! These presentations are held every other month and include a discussion of networking and advertising opportunities, committee participation, special events, leads groups, and business promotion. We strongly recommend for new members to attend Chamber Connection sessions, but anyone who wishes to refresh their understanding of Chamber offerings and re-engage is welcome to attend. Topics addressed include networking and advertising opportunities, committee participation, special events, leads groups, and additional business promotion through the Chamber’s website and social media platforms. There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required through our website.
